Minority Undergraduate Student Program: A Public Health Workplace Experience to Increase Minority Student Interest in Public Health


The primary purpose of this funding opportunity is to create a national program for the exposure of minority undergraduate students to public health and biomedical sciences. CDC is soliciting applications to organizations and institutions to serve as component sites for a ten (10)-week national minority undergraduate student summer program. Each site will demonstrate expertise in serving the five (5) targeted populations that are the focus of this program (African Americans, Hispanic/Latinos, American Indians/Alaska Natives, Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians and other Pacific Islanders).
